Shiatsu training course details
Our study programme, presented as separate progressive courses, allows students flexibility of choice. The courses are arranged to run consecutively but students are able to 'take time out' between courses if desired.

Foundation Course (Stage 1) Three weekends
For students who seek basic skills in Shiatsu for use amongst family and friends the School offers a Three Weekend Foundation Course over two months. The course provides a good grounding in the healing art of Shiatsu. The Foundation Course is a complete elementary course in its own right and can also be taken as the first stage of the One Year Course and the Three Year Shiatsu Practitioner Training.
Commences April & October each year
Hours are Sat/Sun 10.00 a.m -5.00 p.m

Year One Course (Stage 2) Ten weekends
This comprehensive course, which follows on from the Foundation Course (stage one) makes up the first year course of the Practitioner Training. This year gives a thorough grounding in the principles and practice of Shiatsu. Students learn a full range of Shiatsu techniques along with a basic system of Oriental diagnosis and treatment. Sensitivity to Ki both within themselves and others will be developed.
Students may join stage 2 of Year One if they have completed the equivalent Foundation course in hours elsewhere.
